Join guest of honour Val McDermid and host Jane Clifton for the opening night of Sydney Crime Writers Festival BAD19 and crime publishing’s night of nights, the 2019 Ned Kelly awards.
Rub shoulders with crime fans and crime writers from around the country for a night of storytelling, music and recognition of the best in Australian crime writing.
The 2019 Danger Prize and Danger Lifetime Achievement Award will be revealed as part of the launch of BAD19. And guests will be the first to know who wins the 2019 Best Fiction, Best First Fiction and Best True Crime Ned Kelly awards.
Gin, wine and beer will flow. Finger food is provided. And following her successful gig at Glastonbury, Val McDermid will take to the stage with a scratch band of Sydney crime lovers.
